BIOGRAPHY
Encouraged by Suzanne Gessner, Gabriel Rostagni left Toulon to pursue both university and musical studies in Paris from the start of secondary school.
After completing a degree at CNSMDP in the class of David Grimal, Jiyoon Park and Christophe Poiget, he joined the Académie Jaroussky “Jeunes Talents” programme in Nemanja Radulovic’s class. He also studies with Patrice Fontanarosa at Schola Cantorum de Paris.
Alongside his musical training, he studies at Sciences Po Paris.
He has performed with orchestras including the Orchestre de la Garde républicaine, and regularly appears as a chamber musician in venues including La Seine Musicale.
He previously worked with Florin Szigeti at the C.R.R. de Paris and has received guidance from Salvatore Accardo, Yumino Toyoda, Olivier Charlier and Andrej Bielow in masterclasses.
A prizewinner at the Concours Prodige Art and Concours Flame, and a finalist at the Kreutzer International Competition, Gabriel performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician in Paris and the surrounding region.
